![]() The harbors and the airport service intercity connections. Bus and metro networks are for inner city transport while train network can service both inner-city and intercity needs (both passenger and cargo trains). There are many modes of transportation which are unlocked through milestones you can set up a bus network, dig metro tunnels, lay down tracks for passenger and cargo trains, build both passenger and cargo terminals for ships and build an airport. Transportation is one of the services in Cities: Skylines. I havent tried this yet, but I will be soon, and I know that placing the Intl Airport is definitely one that can make me tear my hair out.A harbor and cruise ship, one example of transportation in Cities: Skylines. If you turned off the check for collisions, the blueprint would ALWAYS be blue, letting you place it even if something is in the way. ![]() What that does is lets you toggle the check for collisions and rules. ![]() BUT, if your problem is it can sometimes snap to the road and it turns red from some bullshit collision, I would siggest getting Road Anarchy, or better yet, the Sharper Road Angles mod, which contains Road Anarchy. If it isnt even snapping in the correct direction at all, I have no more help. It's why I prolong harbors for as long as I can and just stick with trains, because holy hell it's just completely asinine. Snapping buildings with pre-build roads is a huge pain in the ass. Connecting to different types of roads might help, and having an already-established 90 degree turn of T-junction might also help. Sometimes you can do it, but you have to mouse-over very specific points that are pretty much arbitrary. Have suggestions for the sidebar / topbar? Mail the mods!
